Sarfaraz Khan is an Indian international cricketer who recently signed with the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) for the IPL 2026 season. Known for his prolific run-scoring in domestic cricket, he is a right-handed middle-order batter and occasional leg-spin bowler.

  • First-Class Average: Sarfaraz boasts one of the highest first-class batting averages in history (over 65), a feat surpassed by very few cricketers with a minimum of 50 innings (e.g., Don Bradman and Vijay Merchant).

  • Triple Century: He scored his maiden first-class triple century, an unbeaten 301*, for Mumbai against Uttar Pradesh in the 2019-20 Ranji Trophy season.

  • Domestic Dominance: He became only the third batter after Wasim Jaffer and Ajay Sharma to score 900+ runs in two consecutive Ranji seasons. He also achieved a high score of 439 in the Harris Shield inter-school tournament at age 12, breaking a long-standing record.
