Sediqullah Atal is an Afghan left-handed opening batsman, who plays for the Afghanistan national team and the Delhi Capitals in the IPL. He debuted in T20I cricket in March 2023 against Pakistan and made headlines after an exceptional performance in the 2024 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup, where he was named Player of the Tournament. Atal made his ODI and Test debuts in the same year and scored his maiden ODI century against Zimbabwe in December 2024.
